What is expected of a pledge in DKE?

In Delta Kappa Epsilon (DKE), a pledge is expected to learn about the fraternity's history, values, and commitments. This foundational expectation is crucial as it helps pledges understand the principles and traditions that guide the fraternity. Emphasizing the importance of history and values fosters a sense of belonging and pride and prepares pledges to embody these ideals as active members of DKE. Learning the fraternity's commitments instills a sense of responsibility and understanding of what it means to be part of the DKE brotherhood, which is essential for their eventual integration into the chapter and participation in its activities. This knowledge underpins all future interactions and contributions as full-fledged members of the fraternity.
